Description

Later 18th century and early 19th century probably

incorporating earlier fabric, with minor alterations dating

from circa 1864. Long 2-storey and attic, 6-bay south facing

range. All white harled. Projecting lean-to porches linked

by continuous slated canopy mask entrances in 2nd and 5th

bays. 4 large piended wallhead dormers (probably 1864).

Mainly 12-pane glazing. Semi-circular outshot with bowed

piended slated roof masks entrance and staircase to 1st

floor in west gable. Long single storey byre range also

extends from east gable. Further, single storey, 2-bay

extension projects at rear.

End, ridge and rear wallhead stacks, all with exaggerated

copes dating from circa 1864; slate roofs.
