Avoch Hotel, Bridge Street, Avoch

The Avoch Hotel, located on Bridge Street in Avoch, was built in 1892 and is part of a single structure with the Station Hotel. It stands three storeys tall and features four bays. The north elevation is only two storeys high, with an advanced gable facing the street. This gable has an asymmetrically placed door and two windows. On the first floor, there is a stepped three-light window with a hoodmould, a small stone balcony, and a decorative cast iron balustrade. The west elevation, which has four bays, includes a single bipartite window on the first floor and four gabled dormer heads, one of which has a bipartite window and a stone finial. The building is constructed of squared rubble with chamfered architraves and broached and stugged ashlar dressings, topped with a slate roof.

Adjacent to the hotel is "The Old Kennels," a late 19th-century building that is one storey with an attic and has three bays. It features a central door on the west side with a loft door above in the gablet. There is a similar chimney gablet on the west side, and the building has crowsteps. It is also made of rubble with stugged ashlar dressings and has a slate roof.
