Description

Thomas Murison. 1820-22. George Rhind 1845: additions.

Basement, 2 storey and attic, 3 bays with centre corniced

doorway approached by shallow flight of steps oversailing

basement. Ground floor tripartites. Red cherry-pointed

ashlar. Eaves band and blocked eaves course. Decorated scroll

skewputts. 3 segmental headed dormers (probably of 1845),

slate roof.

Red harled gables and service wing to rear.

Stables, George Rhind, 1845. 1 storey stable and steading

block, part demolished and much altered for garage use.

Pigeon loft with blocked flight holes and alighting

platforms. Ashlar gate piers with pyramidal copes.
