Description

Bridge House in Cawdor is a single storey and attic L-plan house built in the later 19th century. The exterior is harled with ashlar margins and dressings. Near the center, there is a segmental-headed entrance located in the re-entrant, which is flanked on the right by a crowstepped gabled wing featuring a canted window on the ground floor. On the left, there is a canted bay window topped with a corbelled and crowstepped gablet. The house primarily has 12-pane glazing, crowsteps, ball finials, and corniced end stacks. At the rear, there is a later single storey wing, and the roofs are covered with slate.
