Description

The Post Office in Cawdor Village is a later 19th century terrace building, featuring a single storey and an attic. It is constructed of harl pointed rubble with tooled rubble dressings. The building has an irregular façade with five bays and an off-centre door. There are two gabled dormers and windows with four-pane glazing.

Originally known as the Post Office House, it has a wide three-bay layout. The central door is flanked by bipartite windows that have two-pane glazing. The outer bays feature two canted dormers, along with a smaller piended dormer in the centre. The building has ridge and end corniced stacks and is topped with slate roofs.
