Description
Church Cottage in Migdale is a church room dated 1846, featuring a single storey and a four-bay layout. The entrance is located in the east end bay, which is sheltered by a gabled porch. The exterior is harled, with four-pane glazing and a slate roof that includes a ventilator.
Attached to the hall at the east gable is a mid-19th century cottage, which is also single storey with an attic. This cottage is constructed of whitewashed rubble and has a central door, two gablet dormers, four-pane glazing, and corniced end stacks, all topped with a slate roof.
Both buildings are enclosed by a dry stone retaining wall, and there are a pair of square gate piers with pyramidal caps marking the entrance to the school.
