Description

Market Stance Cottage in Raitcastle is a single-storey, three-bay cottage dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, with a single-bay extension on the west gable. The exterior features harl pointed rubble with painted margins. The central entrance has a double-leafed door, and there are two long windows in the gable extension, both with 12-pane glazing. The cottage has end stacks and a slate roof, while the extension has a piended asbestos slate roof.
