Description

49 High Street in Pittulie is a single-storey, narrow cottage dating from around 1800. It features three bays and has a south gable facing the street. The exterior is constructed of heavily pointed rubble. The central entrance is obscured by a square, flat-roofed extension that includes a side door. The cottage has small windows, including one in the south gable, with single and two-pane glazing. The end stacks are topped with shaped copes, and the roof is covered with corrugated asbestos, likely replacing the original thatch.
