Description

This is a mid-19th century, two-storey house located on the west side of Lybster Main Street, sometimes known as Ruchazie. Originally built as two separate dwellings, it is now a single house. The house is harled, with a rubble south gable. The ground floor features an alternating pattern of windows and doors – window, door, window, door, window – with one doorway now replaced by a window. The first floor has windows in bays 1, 3, and 5, with the windows in bays 2 and 4 being blind. The windows are fitted with 12-pane glazing. Corniced end stacks and a slate roof complete the external appearance.
