The Low Bridge is a single-span bridge dating from 1730 to 1735, with later reconstruction. It is built of rubble with a dressed rubble arch ring and parapet. The bridge, also known as the Nine Mile Bridge, crosses the Gloy River, near Invergloy. References to the bridge can be found in J.B. Salmond’s Wade in Scotland (1938) and William Taylor’s The Military Roads in Scotland (1976).
