Description
The Clan Cameron Museum, formerly known as Beech Cottage and also the Old Post Office, is an earlier 19th century building, originally a long, single-story, five-bay dwelling. It is constructed of harled rubble. The front features a segmental canopy supported by paired wooden columns, sheltering the central door. Windows have 12-pane glazing, and the roof is slate with paired ridge stacks. A later entrance in the south gable is now partially obscured by a lean-to extension. A parallel, single-story, three-bay range extends to the rear and is in very poor condition. The building is currently in poor condition and is used as an estate store.
