Description
The Royal Hotel on Marine Terrace in Cromarty is a long range of terraced houses dating from the early to mid-19th century. It consists of three two-storey and attic three-bay houses, along with one two-storey house that features dormer heads above the first-floor windows. There is also a two-bay house in the rear wing, all of which have undergone significant alterations. The buildings are harled with painted margins, and some original 12-pane glazing remains, alongside some bipartite windows and modern glazing. The hotel features six piended canted dormers and a modern glazed sun porch, all under a slate roof. To the right, there is a coped wall topped with ornate cast-iron railings.
