Description

2 Albany Place on Nunholm Road in Dumfries is a mid 19th century continuation of a terrace. The building has two storeys, attics, and a basement, featuring two-bay houses. Each house has a corniced tripartite doorway with a panelled door and a fanlight above. The second bay includes a full-height canted window. The exterior is finished with stugged red coursers and polished slab margins, along with an eaves course; number 2 has ball finials over the angles. The building also has dormers, end stacks, and slate roofs. It is set behind low boundary walls with square gatepiers.
