Description
Maryness is an early 19th century house located at 5 George Street in Cromarty. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features three bays. The central door has a decorative doorpiece with pilaster strips and a corniced hood. The exterior is finished in whitewashed stucco with painted margins and includes 12-pane glazing. There is a cill band at the first floor level and an eaves cornice. The house has three wallhead piended and canted dormers, a slate roof, and scroll skewputts. Additionally, there are ornate cast-iron railings and a gate, along with a high coped garden wall to the east.
