Description
The archway and bell tower at Waternish House Steading, dated 1864, features a segmental headed arch set in the gable end of what was once a covered entrance to the farm court. The structure is made of rubble with ashlar dressings. At the apex, there is a stepped square plinth that supports a slender steeple bellcote, which contains a bell within an arched void. Flanking the archway, coped rubble walls rise to the height of the wallhead.
