Description

The Thistle Inn, located at 19 Celt Street in Inverness, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features three bays. The front is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, while the sides and rear are constructed of rubble with dressed stone margins. The inn has a later central doorpiece with four-pane glazing. There are three dormers on the roof, two of which are canted and one piended. The roof is covered with slate. The rear wing of the building has been substantially altered.
