Description
This is an earlier 19th century house, originally a single storey, three-bay structure. The front elevation is harled, and the central doorway has been masked by a modern glazed sun porch. The roof has three piended dormers breaking the wallhead, and features two-pane glazing, end chimney stacks, and a slate roof.
To the rear is a store, built in the earlier-mid 19th century. It is constructed of red rubble with roughly dressed long and short angles, and lintels. The store has two wide entrances, and a forestair at the west gable leads to a first-floor door in the centre of its elevation. It has square apex finials and a corrugated asbestos roof.
The house was formerly occupied by a lady named Bertha, and the store likely served as storage for fishing gear.
