Description

Early 19th century, cylindrical cote; harl pointed

rubble; red tooled ashlar dressings. Corbelled upper

stage with 4 batteries of small round-headed

flightholes with blocked impost detailing and alighting

ledges, those to NE and NW being blind. Doorway at east;

shallow pyramidal slate roof with centre circular apex

bird entrance.

Interior; lined from floor to ceiling with 216 stone

nesting boxes.
