Description
Fascadale Fisheries Ice House is an early 19th century structure that features a long, single chamber with a rubble vaulted design, oriented east to west. The eastern gable has an apex chute that is built into the hillside.
On the western gable, there is a substantial later addition of a rubble lean-to with a slated roof, which conceals the gable and includes an enlarged side entrance. The ice house itself is roofed with felt and measures approximately 54 feet in length.
