Description

Achateny House is a two-storey, symmetrical dwelling facing north, built in 1866. The house is constructed of rubble with tooled ashlar dressings, and features a harled west gable. The front has a central door topped by a shallow ashlar canopy and is fitted with 12-pane glazing. There are coped end stacks and a slate roof with projecting eaves. At the rear, there is a single storey and attic wing.
