Description
Erray Farm in Tobermory, Mull, dates back to 1749 and is a traditional two-storey building. It is constructed from rubble and is white-washed, topped with a slate roof. The structure is a long, low building that includes both a house and a barn. At the rear of the barn, there is a single-storey lean-to and an outside stair leading to the upper floor. A large central chimney is a prominent feature. The front of the building has two doors that are likely the original entrances, and there are small windows with chamfered margins. Inside, the ceilings are low, with tongue-and-groove lining and ledged and lined doors.
