Description

These are later 19th-century gate piers, originally part of Foulis Castle. They consist of square, rusticated piers topped with square caps and stone eagle terminals. Low rubble quadrants connect the piers, and these quadrants are flanked by similarly detailed end piers topped with ball finials. The lodges associated with the gate piers are not listed. The gate piers were originally located on the A9 road but were removed and relocated to their current position in the early 1970s.
