Description

Tornapress Bridge is a single-span rubble bridge built around 1815, attributed to Thomas Telford. The bridge crosses the Allt Mor. It is constructed of rubble with a dressed rubble arch ring. It features a low rubble parapet and shallow end buttresses. The bridge is now bypassed. Further details are included in A.R.B. Haldane’s New Ways Through the Glens (1962), pages 98 and 137.
