Jetty, Badachro

Jetty in Badachro is an early to mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay L-plan house that is likely connected to the fishing industry and is now functioning as an inn. It features a quayside store or warehouse, extensive quay walls, and a jetty to the north.

The inn is constructed of whitewashed rubble with squared rubble dressings. The north elevation faces the harbour and has a central door with windows flanking it. There are three windows on the first floor, with the centre window being bipartite, possibly enlarged. A modern, single-storey, flat-roofed addition is present on the east gable, with a window above on the first floor. The rear includes a two-storey wing on the left and a modern two-storey lean-to addition in the angle. The windows are sash and case with a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered in grey slates with coped end stacks, and there are remains of a rubble jetty leading to the sea at the front.

The quayside store or warehouse is built of rubble, likely contemporary with the inn, and has a grey slate roof with renewed skews. It features a blind elevation to the bay and later has large timber boarded double doors to the south, along with a door to the pier in the east gable, which has a memorial plaque above it dedicated to Alexander Mackenzie, dated 1974.
