Description

Charlestown House in Charlestown, Gairloch, was probably built in the early 19th century. It is a tall, two-storey house with an attic and has a deep plan with four bays. The ground floor openings are asymmetrically arranged, with the door located towards the left side and some openings being small. There is an unusually deep area between the first-floor window heads and the wall head, along with a central wall head stack and additional stacks over the gable heads. The exterior is finished in white harling, featuring small-paned sash windows and a slate roof with four piended dormers.
