Description
The Turret Bridge is a probably mid-18th century single-span rubble bridge situated over the River Turret in Glen Roy. The bridge features a dressed rubble arch ring and a low, roughly dressed rubble parapet. The approximate span of the bridge is 20 feet. It stands on the old road connecting the Corrieyairack Road (constructed by General Wade in 1731) with Roy Bridge and Glen Spean.
