Description
4, 6, 8 John Street in Glasgow is a mid-19th century building featuring three stories and an attic, designed as offices with shops on the ground floor. The ground floor has a modern shopfront, while the upper floors are rendered. The building has five bays with single light windows, all adorned with lugged architraves and cornices on the first floor. All windows are sash and case style with four-pane glazing.
Additional architectural details include a moulded cornice above the ground floor, a string course at the window cills, an eaves band, and a deep plain parapet. The roof features two bipartite dormers, corniced end stacks, and is covered with slate.
