Darnley Mill, 500 Corselet Road, Glasgow

Darnley Mill is a group of buildings of various dates arranged around a courtyard, located at 500 Corselet Road in Glasgow. The northmost building, likely the oldest, features a datestone from 1644 and is part of Darnley Mill, all of which underwent significant alterations in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed from rubble, some of which are painted, with ashlar dressings and slate roofs.

The north range has a re-set datestone, suggesting it may date back to the 17th century. It has a crow-stepped design, a rectangular plan, and a three-bay west front, although the openings were enlarged in the 19th century. There is a conical-roofed circular turret at the northeast angle. The ranges to the south are single storey facing the courtyard and appear to be 19th century, but they are built over earlier walling from the 17th or 18th century at the lowest level, which is located above the mill lade. The house at the west end of the courtyard, adjacent to the road, has been much altered and is two storeys tall with an asymmetrical design, featuring a wing to the right of the front elevation.
