Description

32, 34, 36, 38, 40 Albert Road in Glasgow is a mid to late 19th century tenement built in a late Georgian style. This three-storey building features shops on the ground floor and single window bays above. The windows are architraved, with cornices at the first floor and string courses at the cill levels. Some of the windows still have sashes with four-pane glazing. The window levels are aligned with those of the adjoining tenements. The building is constructed of polished ashlar and has chimney stacks, topped with a slate roof.
