Description
23 Albert Road is a mid 19th century, late Georgian-style tenement building that stands four stories tall. It features regular single window bays and is constructed from polished ashlar stone, which has undergone some repairs and has mostly been cleaned, except for No 29. The ground floor is channelled, with architraved windows above. The first and second floor windows are corniced and there is an entablature present. The chimney stacks have been much repaired or rebuilt. The original glazing consists of four-pane sash windows, although some modern windows have been installed. There are also blind windows in the close entry bays. The building has a modern tiled roof.
