Description

Original design by Frank Burnet and Boston, 1899 and revised by Burnet, Boston and Carruthers, 1902 (dated). 4-storey and attic gushet block with bank at ground, entrance below balconied and conical-roofed (slated) circular corner tower. Renaissance. Red ashlar, stone-cleaned. Street elevations roughly symmetrical with single and double windows, centre 3-storey oriels with decorative gabled attic windows over; balustraded wall-heads; prominent stacks; roofs mostly with modern tiles.
