Description

Circa 1870 7-bay tenement block. Polished ashlar,

channelled at ground, stonecleaned. Steps oversailing

basement to recessed doorpieces. Windows at end bays

bipartite, otherwise single-light. All upper windows

architraved: corniced at 1st, lugged architraves at 2nd.

Sash windows, 4-pane glazing. Heavy band course over

ground; band course at 2nd floor cills; strings at 3rd

floor cills; band course at eaves. Plain main cornice,

wallhead and axial stacks. Cast-iron railings to steps

and basement, many damaged.
