Hall, Ibrox Parish Church, 67 Clifford Street, Glasgow

The Hall at Ibrox Parish Church, located at 67 Clifford Street in Glasgow, is a Gothic-style building completed likely by Melvin and Leiper after the death of its honorary architect, James Smith, in December 1863. The church features a flank elevation facing the street, with twin gabled transepts, a chancel, and vestry ranges extending to the west. The eastern gable is also architecturally detailed, showcasing a main door flanked by arcaded vestibule lights and a traceried window above. The southeast corner of the building rises as a tower, topped with a stone spirelet that is set on an open arcade above an octagonal clock stage. The exterior is finished in cleaned yellow ashlar with a slate roof. There is a modern link to the halls on the eastern side, which has an L-shaped front featuring a polygonal entrance tower that has been reduced in height. This entrance tower resembles a 17th-century design but retains Gothic elements, and the structure is two storeys high, constructed of rock-faced ashlar with slate roofs.
