Description

1867, as Wellpark Institute (Free Church School), now an occupational centre. Handsome Italianate composition, on corner site with 2 broadly sinilar elevations - end 2 storeys and near symmetrical with giant pilastered shallow advanced pedimented bays near either end; corner tower rises 2 storeys higher with domed octagonal top stage. Polished ashlar with architraved openings (mullioned windows in pedimented bays), deep entablature door to each front; sash windows; slate roof.
