Public House, 114, 116 Duke Street, Glasgow

120 Duke Street and 118 in Glasgow is a tenement building designed by architect John Cunningham, with plans submitted to the Dean of Guild Court in 1897. The building features cleaned red ashlar stone and is located on a corner site. It has a distinctive bowed corner bay with four-light windows, and its conical roof rises from behind a parapet, flanked by wallhead stacks. The structure is four storeys high, with a public house on the ground floor. The elevations include a single window and canted three-light window bays, each topped with triangular or segmental pediments on the first and second floors. The windows are made of plate glass and include sash and case styles. The roof has a shallow pitch and is slated.
