98, 100, 102, 104 West Regent Street, Glasgow

98, 100, 102, and 104 West Regent Street in Glasgow is a building designed by J L Cowan in 1895. It is a free classical structure with three storeys and an attic, which has been altered to include a double attic, featuring eight unequal bays. The exterior is made of polished red ashlar and primarily has sash and case windows.

The wide entrance is flanked by pilasters on the west bay. The ground floor has a cill band and arched windows with moulded archivolts and imposts in the four eastern bays. There is a cornice on the ground floor that is bracketted over the eastern and western bays. The first-floor windows are corniced and feature wrought-iron balustrades with a panelled die in the outer bays, along with a cill band. A canted window rises from the first to the second floor in the second bay from the east. The second-floor windows are flanked by piers above the entrance, with a parapet above.

Sculptures are located in niches flanking the canted bay and the flanking piers. The main cornice features modillions in the eastern bays, and there are two richly sculpted dormer gables above, with a bell-cast roof over the canted eastern angle bay. The eastern return has three bays of ashlar with simplified detailing.
