62-76 Union Street in Glasgow is a four-storey classical warehouse designed by William Lochhead in 1855, featuring modern shops on the ground floor. The building has eight wide bays constructed of polished ashlar and cast iron. All the windows are sash and case within architraves, primarily with four-pane glazing. The eight main bays each contain four lights, separated by three storeys of superimposed semi-engaged columns: the first floor has Doric columns, the second floor has Ionic columns, and the third floor has Corinthian columns. Each floor features recessed Corinthian pilastraded glazing with cast-iron mullions. The first floor includes a mutule cornice, the second floor has a dentil course, and the third floor is plain, topped with a modillion eaves cornice. The elevation facing Mitchell Street is plain and pilastered.
