James M Monro, dated 1879. 5-storey tenement. Stone-cleaned yellow ashlar with shops at ground, curved corner bay with datestone in panel set over; classical details; windows 2/3 light (single lights to flank) with arched window- head panels at 1st floor, pedimented heads at 2nd floor; deep blocked cornice; shallow-pitched roof, concealed from street.
