Description

Circa 1878. Thomsonesque Greek, 2-storey and basement villa, symmetrical twin-pedimented front. 2 low windows of 5 lights and centre pedimented. Ionic column porch ground floor, recessed centre window and tripartites over the bows flanked by tapered capitals framing recessed containing acroters. Battered basement. Ashlar faced, snecked rubble flanks and rear. Converted to synagogue, steps removed, new side porch with bronze doors dated 1928.
