Description

Mid 19th century farmhouse and steading, set within extended city boundary and surrounded on 3 sides by 20th century housing. HOUSE has 1565 armorial panel re-set in centre advanced gable; 2-storeys and symmetrical, 3 bays, crow-stepped, pedimented outer 1st floor former heads, end stacks; built of stugged, coursed ashlar, chamfered ingoes, centre door, original glazing, sashes, with 12-pane pattern, slate roofs. STEADING built of squared rubble, slate roofs; also detached block to NW.
