Description

East Lodge and Gate Piers at Myres Castle date from the mid 19th century. The lodge is a single-storey building with three bays, constructed from whin rubble and featuring contrasting long and short ashlar dressings. The west elevation has a central door flanked by 12-pane sash windows. It has a central coped stack and a piended slate roof with bracketed projecting eaves. There are additions to the east of the lodge, which is set behind a low retaining wall.

The gate piers consist of two corniced, square piers that are linked by a low curved screen wall to smaller terminal piers.
