Description

The gate-lodge at Inchyre House, likely designed by R & R. Dickson in 1827, is a single-storey octagonal building constructed from ashlar stone in a Gothic style. It features broad eaves and has a lean-to outshot. The lodge is accompanied by octagonal gatepiers, although the top of one of the piers is now detached. Additionally, sculptured fragments from Inchrye Abbey have been collected at this location.
