Description
Prior Letham Farmhouse is an earlier 19th-century building featuring two storeys and a dormerless attic. The exterior is constructed with stugged coursers and has a three-window front with a central door. The ground floor windows are wider than those on the first floor. The roof is slated, with straight skews and ashlar end stacks; the left stack retains its original cornice, while the right stack is slightly shortened. There is an attic light in the east gable. At the rear, there is a two-storey parallel wing, which also has a gabled roof. An east gable features a pantiled lean-to outshot that has been reglazed.
At the front entrance, there are two stugged stop-chamfered ashlar gatepiers topped with truncated pyramidal caps, along with low curved flank walls that have railings. Additionally, there is a rubble-built garden wall with rough coping.
