Description
The steading at Priorletham dates from the earlier 19th century and features open vehicle sheds to the west supported by five cast iron stanchions on block ashlar bases, topped with a pantiled roof. An archway in a rubble wall, made with droved voussoirs, leads into an irregularly planned steading court. There are two blocks that contain cartsheds, constructed from rubble with droved ashlar dressings and chamfered segmental arches, with lofts above. The northern block has a central door with a sloping sill. Both blocks have piended pantiled roofs. There are modern additions to the north, south, and west of the steading.
