24 South Feus, Upper Largo

This is an early 19th century terrace of cottages, originally comprising two three-bay units. Around 1970, an additional bay and a bowed west elevation were added. The cottages are built of whin rubble with ashlar dressings; the later bay is constructed of galleted whin rubble. Number 22 has a central panelled door and two later paired windows, along with two dormers with louvred openings. Number 24 features a door on the left and a single window to the right, with a bowed dormer above. Number 26 has a door flanked by two windows, two bowed dormers to the left, and the 1970 addition displaying three windows on its bowed west elevation, a return window, and an owl finial. Each property has rear extensions. The roofs are slate-covered, with end and axial chimneys. Number 22, 24, and 26 South Feus are designated as a B Group, highlighting their collective architectural significance. The west bay was restored and added by L A Rolland and Partners.
