Description
Claredale and its outbuildings, located on Rottenrow in Falkland, consist of three distinct sections.
The north section was reconstructed around 1900 and is a two-storey building with three windows. The windows have been altered to bipartite, and the upper windows have been raised in the roof, featuring piended dormer heads. The construction is of rubble and slate.
The central section dates from the mid-19th century and is a single-storey structure with two windows and a central door, built of rubble and covered with pantiles.
The northern section is a single-storey outbuilding with a loft, also constructed of rubble and slate.
