Description

The dovecot located to the north of School Brae in Letham dates from the 17th or 18th century and is designed in a lectern style. It is constructed from rubble with squared dressings. There is a low door on the south wall, and the structure features a rat course that steps up to the crowstepped flanks. Inside, there are tiers of nesting boxes, which are currently in poor condition. The dovecot is roofless.
