Description

The former bakehouse at Letham Lands dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It has a rectangular plan and is a single-storey building with a loft. The structure is built of rubble with ashlar dressings, and the south gable head has been repaired in brick. On the west wall, there are two doors and a single window, along with a re-set lintel from 1691 above a blocked opening. The south gable features two windows. The building has a corniced axial stack and a pantile roof. Inside, there is a large cast-iron oven, and wooden stairs lead up to the grain loft.
