Description
The dovecot at Vantage Farm dates from the earlier to mid-19th century, possibly built around the same time as the granary. It is an octagonal, two-stage structure featuring stugged coursers and polished dressings. There are entrances on the south-facing side at both the ground level and the first floor. The eaves are deeply bracketed, and the roof is slate, topped with a central octagonal cupola that has flight holes, leading to a steep, facetted slate roof. The dovecot is integrated into a single-storey range that has undergone significant alterations, although this range is not included in the listing.
