Description

Dated 1580. Oblong fortified house 4 storeys high with

stair-wings at N.W. and S.E. angles and corbelled turrets at

N.E. and S.W. angles. Rubble, slated roof. Entrance

lintels inscribed with date and monogram 'I.H.'. First

storey has three vaulted chambers and passage. Each upper

storey had two rooms 'en suite'.
